I think I decided on my next wheel to be Schnitzer. I was looking at replica wheels but they just look too crappy in person. Its like giving Jessica Alba a fake gucci purse, it doesnt seem right.

Anyhow, anyone got pics or recommend any of the Schnitzer wheels in silver or chrome on a titanium 5? Theres not much to choose from and I was even thinking about doing 19s this time around instead of the 20. I think a picture of 19 rad's on a 7 sold me. Let me know!

It's just me I guess, but I think that new design from ACS is a giant step backward.
The old wheels look better to me--a prime example is their 22" one piece for the e65 7 series--that is a beautifully simple wheel with great style. That new stuff doesn't do it for me. As a brand, I'd have to say I like the Racing Dynamics stuff for the e60 better than the ACS. Just me, I know. And yes, the pricing is bordering on the ridiculous. (Yes, I do realize that it is designed to keep everyone from having it--works for me!).

sorry guys not fan of ACS or RD , but if you go go for a 5 star spoke one and if you can 3 pieces with the screws that is cool.

Why not HRE or RE or HM?

I personally don't like the new design ACS wheels they have now. I like the old style better. Hey, didn't you have those OZ wheels in 20s? Why do you want to go 19s now? Is it the ride quality?

I believe somebody in Hong Kong posted some pictures of his E60 with ACS wheels/parts and if I remember correctly his car was Titanium silver?

Schnitzer wheels.. opinions?-ac_schnitzer_5er_touring_02.jpg

OK xexyus, I think you need some moral support here.

I like the new AC wheel much better than the old one (although the 2 piece was nice).

Have seriously considered the 19" myself. The one I like the look of the best is the 2 piece again, but it is not available as a 19 to my knowledge. Clean, modern looking and easy to clean.

I'm not prepared to go 20", aside from the ride, the roads round here would trash both wheels and tyres.
Got to stick with 19s and then be careful...

P.S. 19" Operas are on my list too, got any pics?

I don't care for the ACs new or old. Not sure what the cost of the ACs are but other than the additional bolts holding the two halves together, they don't look that much different than many of the oem stockers. Just my opinion of course, I know many people love them too!

I don't like them. They look like they belong on a Eclipse or Civic.

Thanx for the opinions guys. Yea I really didnt want to go the HRE route or anything like that, I really wanted to stick with a BMW tuner. It flows better with the car in my opinion (probably a mental block because they are meant for bmw)

I decided to try 19 because I used to own a W210 mercedes and had several 19s and the ride was wonderful. Not too harash plus it looked aggresive enough at the perfect size. Obviously 2 different cars but im trying to achieve the same ride. I just wanna do some testing of my own, see what happens.

What about the older AC wheels? The split 5 or even the single 5 spoke? I dont even know their names lol

<3 your opinions and pics
