My Ride: 2004 530I (build date OCT 03), 6 spd maual, titanium gray, black, premium package, cold weather package.
Hi guys - anyone swap out the stock (non-sport) suspension with a Sachs kit? Epxeriences with ride and cornering? I am trying to decide between a Sachs spring/schock set and an Eibach spring/Bilstein sport shock set... Any experience with that set up?
Next up (if needed) will be a sway bar kit, your opinions also requested..
The group's collective insight much appreciated.
Cheers.

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front.
Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.
I have the Sachs performance suspension kit, I bought it used and it worked out great, I like it alot, although I have no other suspension mods to compare to. Ride with my 19" is totally tolerable, not too bouncy and very comfortable.
The only gripe I had is that the rear gap is bigger than my front by about 0.25" to 0.5", I think the spec says the front is lower 1.5", the rear is 1.2". You can see how it looks like in my gallery.
Don't think you can go wrong with either choice.
I also have the sway bars, do a search and check out my post on my comment. To summarize, I like it alot, and would get both front and rear together, but don't pay more than $100 for sway bar installation.
