Hey guys thanks for taking a look! I was just wondering if anyone has any knowledgeable insight on rust proofing?! and if so which one do you reccomend dripless or drip? From what i've herd drip is better as they use oil base rust proof which is more durable and longer lasting where as dripless is water base and doesn't get the job done aswell as the Oil base.... Any Help?! i need to get it done soon as i live in Toronto-Canada and the snow has begun

"Rust-proofing" is a high profit business that simply is not required on a modern automobile. Most anything that could rust on our cars is treated, coated, protected in the assembly process. The best a rust-proofing outfit could accomplish is to defeat the manufacturer's work IMHO. [e.g. plugging up drain holes with gunky goop ...etc)

Its even in our user manual. On my 2004 model it says I am guaranteed against rust until 2016. Its on the last page with a sticker. All you really have to do to prevent rust is wash your car often and keep salt and grime off of it.

I never seen a BMW doing rust proof.
if you DIY which I have done on my other cars. I would use the 3M stuff.
It is also sound proof too
