Love this forum.
I am a proud new father of an 06 530 and I was looking for a new set of wheels. I was also hoping on not breaking the bank. I found these wheels and the manufacturer claims there is no issues with installing them. I am looking to go with a 19 (8.5 front / 245 and 9.5 / rear). I was hoping someone here has had experience with this wheel or company. http://rpmwheels.com/ Thanks for all the help. |

they claim the have the correct off set. I checked at my local Discount Tire and they said we will put them and make sure they are correct.
Tires (PS2's) wheels, mount and balance for $2,000 out the door. |

Tires (PS2's) wheels, mount and balance for $2,000 out the door. I'm not sure on the exact dimensions of the tires you're getting, but for example: 245/35-19 = $310.00 each 275/30-19 = $332.00 each These are for PS2's @ tirerack.com. The total on tires only comes to $1,284.00. Now, the Tire Rack has typically been cheaper than most local tire shops, so keep in mind that you might even be paying a little more for the same tires. The point is, with $1,284.00 spent on tires, that leaves only $716.00 left towards the value of the wheels. Furthermore, you need to subtract the cost for mounting & balancing and you have some really cheap wheels and I'm talking about cheap as in quality/build. The RPM wheels are either of very low quality (in which case I would say avoid them) or you are robbing your local Discount Tires blind (in which case I say buy two sets of wheels and tires and ebay the other set). |
thanks for all the feed back. I am going to rethink the wheels.

If finance is a factor, as is the case for most of us, how about looking for a used set of good quality wheels? Putting cheap, poorly made wheels on your car will in turn make the car look cheap and even hurt the performance.
Don't settle...rims are probably the biggest expense on your car so get something you really like that really complements your car. I know these are 20s and a bit higher than your price range but how about these? http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=18025 |
you are not alone with this question:
