i was just wondering if anyone is doing a RPI scoop with and aftermarket CAI I have an AFE CAI just wondering if it will work

i dont see why not. we are just not a fan of the afe intake. having a scoop should actually help because the intake sits where your stock airbox would normally be.

actually, i just got my rpi exhaust and rpi scoop installed last saturday and i love it, my suggestion is to do thesame thing since we have the same engine, gives you a little boost bout 10hp. leave the stock intake or airbox right now coz the bmw airbox is actually good and it helps cool it down, what i did was have him do a charcoal filter delete so the stock intake will give more boost on the rpi exhaust.. pls contact joe at trinity auto sport, and the exhaust was ordered from RPI with eloy and he will hook you up and explain it better.. he got mine done last week for about 800 installed.. pm me if you want his info

see i already put the AFE CAI in now honestly i feel a difference one of the local shops is doing a dyno day and i wanna see some actual numbers between both but i wanna get the RPI scoop first and see what it does hey who knows maybe i can retrofit the scoop with the AFE CAI and make more power
