yes it is in fact last year diamond was outed because he posted an email w the return email sleepyca (banned member), all members rousted him and called him out. he posted he would NEVER post here again. and 6mo later....

My Ride: 09 M5 (E60) Interlagos blue, Silverstone interior, with cold weather package. Adaptive Xenon headlamps and adaptive brake lights, hud, comfort access. Comfort seats, basically fully loaded.
What a loser..

why so much anger? I post things that I do or have done that I have not read any info on or have not been tried-for example rpi exhaust on a n52 engine with taking the resonator out.
Its only to help others and post info to fellow ethusiasts.
I weighed my whole oem exhaust sytem since I have now replaced everything up to the cats-and the stock system with piping, muffler nad resonator weigh 75 pounds.
The rpi and one straight pipe weight 25.
So losing the 50 pounds alone is worth a lot in weight reduction.
People can or dont believe me but I have done many mods and reversed ones that lost power or sucked and I feel now I have optimized my car and I get amazing gas milage-35mpg on freeway at 75-80-which is almost all my driving. I chalk it up to the obviously efficient n52 engine but I got lighter wheels and tires-Took off 7 pounds on each wheel/tire setup by replacing oem. That rotating mass reduction makes the most difference in efficiency.
I did as much weight reduction as possible-took out spare tire and jack and now changed out my exhaust so saved about 100 pounds on top of the 30 pounds of rotating mass weight which is probably more equivelent to an unsprung mass of 250 pounds. Last thing I do is run all 4 tires at 42psi and have 245s/19 on the front and 285 on the rear. On a stock sport 530 like I had it comes with 18s and 245 non staggered. Wider tires create less rolling resistant due to less deformation on the road-commmon misconception that skinner tires "roll easier".
So all that to say is you can have a great boost in power, fun and efficiency and that is my point of listing the mods.
Of note I also have bms powerbox which was the best mod for fun factor, rpi scoop.
take all that for what you will-you can think I dont have an e60 and ranomdly come up with this stuff

pics of what--a missing resonator or an rpi exhaust-there are tons of pictures of an rpi exhaust and dont think anyone cares or wuld want to see a piece of straight pipe with no resonator under the car. If you need pics to visualize that than your IQ is probably too low to be able to sustain independant living so your input means very little
