I'm a 'mod for go' versus 'mod for show' kind of guy, but I'll admit, I love the way they both look behind the grill.

Will the RPI scoop along with the BMC filter void my warranty?

scoop and filter would not void your warranty. when you take your car in for service though, ask them not to replace the air filter though if you go with the BMC.

It is a very cool thing to add, I gave in and bought it, hope it works out as promised. I got it in Black though and my car is gray with CF grills. Didn't know if I should get red as it might draw too much attention to it.

I live in Portland and we get a TON of rain over the winter/spring months. I just picked mine up a few months ago so I cannot personally say that there won't be any issues. However, the scoop has been designed to channel water away through the crack/bend. I pm'd another member that also lives in Portland and he had his for well over a year with no problems.

I couldn't feel a difference on the butt dyno but I know that my front end looks hell of a lot cooler lol.

If you have the dinan intake for the 550 do you buy the M5 RPI scoops that come as a pair?

with the Dinan intake yes 2 scoops would be functional. the driver's side though would have to be made for a 550 of course though.
