Hi all.
I am new to the E60 world with my 550. I am thinking about doing a simple tune to my ride
RPI exhaust
RPI scoop w/filter
ESS Tune
Can anyone give their thoughts on these?
Anyone have these mods on their car? gains? issues?
I would love to hear an RPI exhaust live..,,is there anyone in the Los Angeles area that I can meet and hear your RPI Exhaust?

and combined with other complimentary mods, you can get good gains with a tune....IIRC: RPI offers a specific ESS tune for RPI bolt on products.....
OP: you do know you are located very close to the RPI office, have you contacted RPI directly? The have a dyno in house, so pre and post install dyno's could be easily recorded/measured @ RPI...

If your car is still under original warranty I'd get a piggyback tune other than a flash. That is unless you know the person that is flashing your car and is willing to reflash it every time you take your vehicle in for service and every time you receive it back. If that isn't an issue then ESS is a good choice, I've heard great reviews of it and not so great reviews of the GIAC flash.
