I finally pulled the trigger on a second-hand RPI exhaust and will be installing it tonight just in time for this month's Houston SCCA autocross on Sunday. Can't wait see the looks on everyone's face when I roll up. I'll shoot some before and after vids with the iPhone.

Okay, here are the videos as promised. The install went flawless. I'm experiencing some droning from 1,750 to 2,000 rpm. Other than that, it sounds great and there is noticeable performance gains. Special thanks to my buddy KPye who did the install for me.

Every time I hop back in the car I remember why I haven't pulled the trigger on quads. Love it! Great mod!

The 545i/550i RPI really is a great sounding exhaust

Those before and after videos just keep reminding me that I need to replace my 550's exhaust!!
I'll probably go for a Supersprint, because the RPI costs about 50% more due to shipping to Europe. Its probably also going to be more neighbour and wife friendly

Thanks for sharing the videos -- enjoy that sound...
