RPI Exhaust Install

My Ride: 550I
When installing a RPi exhaust on a 550 do you need to weld the new exhaust to the section you cut or do you just use clamps?

My Ride: 2011, E90 M3 Sedan. Alpine White.Competition package, Keyhole cover, fender reflectors in Alpine white, RPI Exhaust, 19
cut and clamp, easy as pie with a few minor adjustments on the hangers

the clamps should be included in the package. here's a link with detailed pics for the rpi exhaust installation.
