particularly around long beach/signal hill or close. particularly one with a manual tranny, and if possible 06-07 530i. eloy at race precision would like to test it and dyno. he said its harder with mine since its steptronic and keeps shifting automatically even in M mode. you might have to leave your car for a while, but not certain. when i went, my sessions were broken up between 2 days. pm me if interested, or you can call eloy way at race precision: 562/630-5966. if you call him, tell him you read this thread from nerwyll and he'll know what to do right away. thanks.

Eloy is a great guy and RPI has developed a very cost effective upgrade for getting more power out of the M cars. The RPI scoops for the M5s/M6s have shown gains between 15hp-22hp to the wheels. I felt a noticeable difference when I got the scoops installed.
I've talked to Eloy about the non-M E60s and he thinks the scoops will work (just one scoop instead of two on the M cars), but will need to test to make sure what the gains will be. This is why, although they are sponsoring us for the Central Cali Meet by offering 2 scoops for non-M E60s, they need someone to come there and get this tested.
