I installed the RPi exhaust on my 550i and it needs to be lifted a little bit as the tips hang a little lower than I would like. I heard that Eloy uses a Pep Boys Rubber Hanger that is smaller than OEM. Does anyone know the Pep Boys part # ? The other part #'s that I have seen are incorrect..

Thanks for the help!

all RPi exhaust utilize the stock hangers. the exhaust was most likely installed incorrectly.

Yes, but Eloy has used a smaller hanger. The smaller hanger was a Pep Boys part #.

I have emailed him for clarification..

Anyone else know?

i believe a member did try using smaller hangers from an auto parts store. But if the exhaust is adjusted before the bolts are tightened you will not need to purchase extra hangers. The exhaust was designed to use the stock hangers with perfect fitment. hope this helps good luck

Maybe on the M5 but not a perfect fit on the 550i. Although not a big deal, I had to move the rear most hanger to the other side. Also, my exhaust sits a little too low as well, and I would be interested in this part number as well.

The 550 sits perfectly as well, if installed correctly. Darkboyz68 and el immigrante's exhaust sit perfectly. I've seen both in person. It takes some adjusting but it will fit the way it was designed.
