Can anyone recommend professional rolling fenders in Orange County? Or any member has tool to rent?
http://www.streetuni...tal_p/sufrr.htm
Any DIYer had sucess using this tool or using a mallet?
Please VOTE!
A. Take it to the Pros.
B. Heat gun and mallet
C. Heat gun & Fender rolling Tool http://www.streetuni...tal_p/sufrr.htm
Let's hear it.
Thanks in advance!

I was involved in the fender rolling process in a precious car which was a Honda, and the fenders were much easier to roll. I had my fenders rolled by a "professional" about 2 weeks ago on the E60. I should have done it myself to get it done exactly how I want since I still had to tweak it a little. You just need a heat gun and the roller, some time, and patience.

Yeah, it's what I'm thinking. I saw how a shop roll with heat gun and a mallet!!!??? but apparently it's one of method. I am thinking, I can do that! So we have a momemtum swing in voting folks.

Well, less than 24 hours since deciding I needed the fenders rolled, I took the plunge and did the front fenders this evening.. Cost was $22 for wagner heat gun from home depot and almost 2 hours of elbow grease and precision banging. I am positive no exterior paint was cracked, as for irregular bulging or warping of fenders, jury's out until daytime...and if they still rub. LOL

The update is fender rolling DIY was a huge success!
No more rubbing on almost all turns WITH dips. Only rubbed slightly if I get caught off guard with huge dips. Just by slowing down does the rest. Rear fenders, here I come!

Just have it done...something around $40 each side is cheap for having it professionally done rather than experimenting and spending alot more $$$ if you make some mistakes.
