I could not wait to get the RPi exhaust installed so I went early this morning to see Eloy. We heat wrapped the section ones in a fiberglass wrap, coated them with a heat resistant paint, then proceeded to install sections one, two and three.

I've been contemplating it but the RPI set up is pretty loud compared to mine and although I test drove Sohrab's car this past weekend and loved the sound, I don't know if I can live with it as a daily driver. It's funny that right before I went to meet up with Sohrab, my wife said "you better not make your car any louder than it is already". LOL!!

just curious what does the fiberglass wrap do?

thanks R9ndy, the heat wrap prevents the heat escaping from the section ones.
Keeping the heat within the section ones allows the exhaust speed to remain higher, translating into additional power.
I plan on dyno'ing the vehicle next saturday so i will be sure to post the results.
