I'm sure this isn't the right time to hear it but you should've have went OEM. Saving a few bucks in the short term will end up costing you in the long. Funny thing is I should be listening to myself. It's happened to me on occasion trying to go cheap and end up paying more. Ask EuroCarFan. He knows about my mistakes.

actually i think you made a good choice going with aftermarket.. im not sold on the idea of going with OEM just because granted maybe a bit lighter and better engineerd ect ect.. but the price tag is significant... and as far as mine nobady even guys at the dealer couldnt tell the difference.. so keep the extra bucks in your pocket and good choice on replica's chances are you'll probably sell the wheels later and not get OEM price back, because of the market saturated with good replica's..

but. sorry back to the subject... you should tell them to give you a full F*ckin refund... and if you have proof of emails back and forth i would claim false advertisement. and if they stick to the story of other e60's he sold to and has pics then claim a defective set and have him send you new wheels.

Not sure which replicas you got or how good your dealer guys are because it's pretty easy to spot non-OEM wheels. The design is not identical. Also, there have been a lot of horror stories on this board of how replicas had fitment problems and caused vibrations. I'm glad you didn't experience this problem but I think the safe advice to others is if you can afford it, go with OEM to avoid potential problems.

I have seen some lame ones but mine are exactly shown above and very hard to tell the difference.. I parked right next to an M6 at the dealer and the only visible difference was the tires.. from naked eye couldnt tell..

ET35 will only work for an XI model...

I myself is in the wheel and tire business and its sad to see that people have no idea WTF they are selling

Even if it would clear the strut the wheels would sit in to much and look horrible.

Put pressure on the seller and have him take the wheels back because its clear that the wheels are the wrong offset for the car... you need about ET 20-25 front and you can do ET 15-20 in the rear.

I myself will be doing Et 20 front and et 16 rear... either the stern st-2 or st-5

Contact the wheel vendor. I think its Alt Wheels get them involved! Also based off vegastrashed chart on page one a 15mm spacer wont do you any good. If you had a 8.0 width et 20 on stock rim and you went to a 8.5 ET35 thats amounts too 21mm. now it would work on a 3 series but not a 5. All 3 series have stock ET35mm offset in the front.

My setup is a 18x8.0 et 35 fronts and 18x9.0 et 20 for the rears. I do have 15mm spacer upfront. these were off a M3.

show that jackass the pics and see you were right they fit fine if you dont mine grinding down your wheel when you drive.
