After 26K miles I discovered that all 4 rims (Star Spoke 124) have cracks.
Is it OK to weld it, or I must get new rims?
It is 550i 2007 w/sport

Get a new Rims.

I have 124' and one was cracked - I bought a new one now 2 more are bent and can't be balanced. It's not just us - almost every E60 with 124's have this problem. I'm hoping BMW will do a recall. It's obviusly a defective rims. Call customer care and complain.

also helps if yo post your location so perhaps a member local to you can recc a shop...but I agree with rim replacement if it's cracked, no welding

If Star Spoke 124s are bad, what do you suggest for replacement?

My 166s fronts were cracked and bent. A good wheel repair shop ca tell you if they can be repaired or not.
My wheels came back repaired but a bunch of rims were rejected and considered unrepairable. My local Discount Tire
knows where to have them fixed. My old 124 was also bent but was repaired by the same shop. They're a big business
since they are open 24 hrs and service all of SoCal. Took them overnight to fix my 2 rims since I picked them up next morning.

Isn't your car under warranty? Maybe damage due to road hazards is not covered but all four rims being cracked is not a road hazard issue it?s a wheel quality issue. BMW should buy you new wheels.
