Thumbs up

Whats up family,

Im wanting to put some rims on my 5 but not sure which ones to get . Then i am getting the M-tech kit put on. I spoke to Gary of Newport and he quoted me ruffly $1600 for both rims $200 for TPM's and Caps. The rims are the 166's and 172's Im not sure which ones to get. the 166's are older but look aggressive and sporty but the 172's are classy and remind me of the mercedes  . So if you could help me out. Thanks

Here is a pick of my car

166 is my first choice, but the 135's are a very close second. I also like the 172's but they remind of the M3 rims a bit which is why I like the 166 and 135 style more.

I was in you exact position 4 weeks ago. 172 look great! but I choose the 166 because of the concave effect made the car look sportier both sitting still and o the move.....which is what I was trying to acheive. See my attached thumbnail.

Because your running these 166 on a standard e60 (non-M5), your setup will mean your tires are lower profile that the M5, so the wheels+tires actually looks even better becuase of that.

Go with OEM 166's for your car.

I have the same 5 you have, and a guy I know wants to sell me his 166's off his M5. So looks like exactly what you did. What tires sizes did you end up using?
