I have 20" miros on mine with standard sport suspension and I think it sits quite well. I had 18" with run flats before and now on normal tyres and ride quality is about the same. Smooth on a nice road but hard over the many bumps n potholes we have here. People must think I'm drink drivin alot of the time as I dodge all over the road! Occasionally get a bit of rubbin from the fronts if hit a bump or corner at speed so am thinking some ksports to maybe reduce this. Anyway, some pics can be found here https://5series.net/forums/topic/113...1#entry1345354

That looks fine!

After looking at your car in this pic, it makes me wonder if I even need to lower.

What size are your tyres?

Thanks, this is what I'm looking to get also.
Regarding the front tyres rubbing, wouldn't spacers correct this? (also do you get any rubbing on the back with a full car?)

rears are fine as i opted for the 275 instead of 285, no rubbing even witgh a couple of fat mates in the back!
with the fronts its the outer edge thats rubbing, so i think spacers would only make this worse.
when it comes to renwing the rubber i think ill go for a size slimmer too.
perhaps rolling the arches would benefit but there isnt somewhere local to me that i know of that will do a good job of this.

Et18 all round I think. These are specifically designed for the e60 I believe, very common and well loved in the USA, I had these personally imported, possibly the only set in the uk.

You've got me thinking if a similar set would look good on my car, but in silver.
Shame about the rubbing though, I hope you manage to get it sorted out mate.

Give cal at sonicms a shout, he hooked me up with mine, good prices and very helpful with shipping. They come in silver too and he has a thread somewhere with plenty photos. Be prepared for a raping by customs though! Cheers, the rubbing isn't at all bad or often so not really a problem, I sometimes think my shocks may just have seen better days. I'm lookin for an excuse to justify gettin the ksports lol

Ok I'll keep that in mind. I'm still a bit indecisive on what style I want at the moment, but atleast I know I can stick the 20s on without splashing out on coilovers at the same time. (although I know I will end up with them at some point)

So how much are people paying for ksports in the UK? I have seen them for around £700.
