Retrofitting Logic 7 in the Glovebox
Hi guys,
I installed HiFi stereo system in my car few days ago, but I came across a Logic 7 set, which I bought:lol: My idea is to install the amplifier somewhere around the glove box, because there is already an optic outlet and I won't need to pull cables to the trunk. This way I can use the OEM cables and the ones I pulled to the sub-woofers and the only cables which I need to pull are the ones to the rear door panels (total of 4 cables). My only concern is the heating of the amplifier, what do you think? Can someone with L7 tell me how hot does the amplifier gets? If my idea is not a good one, can someone tell me is it possible to use the optic, which I have already pulled in the trunk for my bluetooth module? Can I make something like a branch and attache both devices there? If yes, what connectors should I use? |
yes you can use the optics in the rear. There are all the same loop anyway.
|
But how to cut the optic in order to add another device on the MOST circle? Is there a tutorial or something?
|
you dont cut the optic. There is an optic fiber junction box in the rear just behind the rear seat in the boot. Or you make up a loop between the module that has the optic fiber and the new one you want to attach.
