Hi there
I've looked into this and it is possible. The kit is very expensive ?4k and fitting it will cost around ?2k.

There is a much easier way if fitting the same kit cheaper and this is how I'm going to be doing it.

Install ACM unit. Buy a ir pathfindthermal cam (it's the one BMW use themself) and your done. Now you can just use the acm to watch the cam.

Acm cost ?400
Ir pathfind cam ?1.5k

Install free of done yourself.

If you need any info just let me know. And on a side note if you want to add dvb tv let me know.

Hehe, thats partly why I've chosen to go down the route of ACM + IR Pathfind. Its much cheaper, and can be used anytime of the day(not really any point using during the day but the option is there!)

Hi h2009

Thanks for info. I allready got a video interface ( not a OEM ACM ) with PAL & NTSC input options , so I gess it should also be posible to get the camera signal in this way , elsway I will purchase the needed OEM Night vision modul + braket etc. from BMW , the wirring harness I proberly will be able to make myself.

Best Regards

Hi Ben,

Was the HUD retrofit a mess? I would love the HUD, and have found a unit that would work in my car.
