A lot of people here just buy the bracket and fit a local 1Kg extiguisher by bolting its own holder to the bracket

I have the bracket and the fire extinguisher, had them sitting on the shelf for a while actually.
Question: It appears that I only need to pop off the plastic front cover below the thigh support to attach the bracket to some sort of seat structure that has two properly spaced holes, does this piece detach by pulling forward, squeezing unseen tabs, or what?
Thanks!
