Hello,
While giving my car a good cleaning, I noted my standard non-illuminated door sills could be removed rather easily, and there looks to be some easy to access wiring under there, though I didn't poke around to much. Has anyone install the illuminated door sills after purchase? Can it be done easily, and dose anyone know the part numbers?
I just installed the rear console anthracite trim, which was not a hard install at all.

As Kigerka allready said I ordered mine before I took delivery, so they have been installed by my dealer before I got the car. I know that it took four hours (one hour per door).

I added them to my Z4... The major pain is getting the wiring into the door sills as they do NOT prewire them. Actually replacing the sill is easy, a small hole is drilled where a plug is inserted than basically the sills are adhered and snapped in....
If anyone wants a PDF of the instructions, email me.
Iceman; are the rears lit as well... I can't find the EPC instructions for wiring rears, it says in the E60 EPC catalog that the rears are unlit??

BMW sells two different sets of those lighted door sills.
The one is for the two front doors only, the other one is for all four doors!
I've got it for all four doors.
