I'm looking into a E60, either 535i or 550i, and was wondering if it's possible to change the trim in these cars? There are tons of aftermarket trims for the E39, but haven't been able to find much on the E60. Is it possible?

Just wondering as this would allow me to look at so many more cars to purchase if I could change the trim as I'm not a fan of the wood trim. I like either the bamboo anthracite, aluminum or black out trim. So if I can change it after I buy it, then great! If not, then I'll have to be more specific in what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

+1...a quick use of the search bar will get you a few threads on it...

for example:

painted piano black trim

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=51212

pearl bronze painted trim

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry541936

or you can go with a straight swap for an OEM color...just have to order the pieces from the dealer...

I had my main dash piece replaced under warranty - I was actually surprised that the grain was different. I thought for sure that it would be all the same.
