My Ride: Black 2006 BMW 530i with sport and prem package, staggered 124 wheels, 50% tint, AC Schnitzer aluminum pedals, black interior w/ alum trim set, M style body kit and sound upgrade: Alpine PDX-5, PXE-H660, sub, MBQuart speakers.
Default

So I wrapped my interior wood trim with carbon fiber fabric, and it looks fine but got tired of it, and I always liked the aluminum trim so I decided to just get one in eBay.

However, I remember having read there were some fitting issues installing the door handle trim, like there was a slight different in measurement....is that right?

I tried searching but couldn't find anything related to that. Don't want to buy the trim set to then find out it doesn't fit. btw, I have a 06 530i with the wood trim.

Any thoughts? thanks!

Did you find a good Ebay price for the alum trim? I always wanted, but kinda pricey.. mind sharing the link? Maybe you can resell your already wrapped cf trim..

I have read that the door trim is a tiny bit short too, but people are doing it despite the fact. It must not be that bad.

here's the link I had looked at, it's actually dark titanium, for $600, but I think aluminum would look nicer with a black interior, and it's more expensive too...$900
