Hi guys,
I have to replace all 4 my brakes. The stealership is asking over 1100 euros for it ( That's about 1600 dollars ).
However I do not know what I should do, because I do want to save money, but then again I want to mod it as well, that's that this forum does to you![Tongue](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/tongue.gif)
Do you have any advise on what to do? I have an olive green 545i with 20" 166 reps, so i'm not really sure if I want colored pads, darker rotors, anyone got some experience with this color or has a nice suggestion?

Don't bother with the stealership and their prices! Specially with so many aftermarket options out there. Contact Acute Performance for some R1 rotors and some Hawk HPS pads. It's a simple enough DIY too that you can do the whole thing in about 2-3 hours. I've done it with mine and it's been great!
Compared to the $1600 you were quoted, I saved a cool $1000. All it took was some elbow grease an awesome buddy of mine and a case of Corona beer!

I would, but it seems Acute Performance doesn't ship to the Netherlands =[ Besides I would have problems with customs =\ Any European brands you can recommend?

Check www.schmiedmann.com.
I don't know their brake selection, but they do offer something.

Is your car lowered at all (hard to tell from the angle) or have different springs? I'm looking at the 166 rep's as well in gun-metal. What is the wheel width on the front and back 166's?
