I have 08 LCI E60 that does NOT have Xenon lights. I would like to change the ugly yellow AE rings and get GP Thunder 8500k V2s. Since my car is a LCI its plug and play right? Last time I wanted to do this I was advised I needed xenon lights to do the AE bulb change? I have seen several E90 without Xenon do the GP Thunder upgrade.

e90's with xenon headlights also use h8 bulbs, so not sure why you are thinking just because e90's can do this mod you can. Halogen headlights on e90's still do not use gp thunder h8 bulbs. H8 GP thunder bulbs only work with xenon headlights...halogen headlights, pre lci or lci use a different bulbs. I believe pinguhk sells an aftermarket bulb for halogen headlights...have you checked with brabus to see if he carries any bulbs....
