I agree with most of the people. If you are going to invest in brakes then why not in brembo or smth similar. Yeah it's way more expensive but the stopping power is better, it looks better and it's way more exclusive.
You mean like mines here??? Admittedly, I got retrofitted to my Dinan/Brembo BBK strictly for the looks and exclusivity. Had a few dollars lying around and said, why not??? Hum, one day though I would love to track it and put the system thru its paces. BEST REGARDS

Does the 545i/550i have twin piston calipers? I'm aware of the increased disc diameter and larger alu calipers compared with the E60 I6 but am not sure about the internal mechanism anymore..

A BIG Congrats on your latest move here!! You'll definitely enjoy the enhanced performance and rugged sporty looks for sure. I've been thoroughly enjoying my Dinan/Brembo BBK for a few months already.
I got my huge calipers colored in black also (vs. hot red) for a more under the radar and stealth look, but people (who know and appreciate this stuff) notice them immediately regardless. Ha ha. Anyway, the new system has offered absolutely flawless and truly confidence inspiring performance. You'll definitely enjoy them for sure!! BEST REGARDS
