So I installed Remus' new Left/Right System (086003 0578) with dual (0010 04G) tips. It's a nice solution for those recently bit by the "quad bug". It's priced about the same as most single systems, and is a nice medium between custom quads and higher priced systems (ie. Eisenmann, Hamann, RDSport).
I had all three resonators deleted, and coming from an Eisenmann Race, it's noticeably louder. The tone is totally different from the Eisenmann as well. The Eisenmann has a higher-pitched raspy tone to it, with absolutely no drone. The Remus has a lower tone, much deeper, more throaty sound to it. In my opinion, it suits the car better--but there is a little drone. Both the Eisenmann and Remus are great exhausts I'd recommend to anyone. Both different and nice in their own way--I like both. But, of course, I like the looks of the quad. :D Right-click, then download the file (sorry for the crappy clip): http://www.mobilesoundworks.com/images/remusquad.mov |

I'm getting an ACS-style custom quad diffuser. Thanks to John (alpinewhite) for hooking me up.
It should look something like this. John also gets credit for the PS job on member delje08's car. Sorry if I used pics of your car without permission. |
I think seeing that pic, Jerry's going to get quads for sure. haha
