hello to everyone, just trying to get to the bottom of this.i know that the remus quad tip does not fit with a m5 bumper, what is it that has to be done for a proper fitting.also i know that the tubing on the 545 is a bit larger than than the v6,and the remus tubing needs to be enlarged.but other than that, what other mods need to be done for a proper fitting. thanks to all that can help me solve this dilemma.......................

I installed the remus quad on my 2004 530i with the BMW OEM M5 rear bumper. It was a pain, and did cost me some change $$$, but all in all, it is well worth the trouble!!

'stryder8',

Thanks for the comp. and the chrome tips came with my Remus Quad I purchased at Bavarian Auto Sport for 899.99 + 25 for S&H, and was to me in one weeks time from ordering.

I am not a salesmen or getting any kind of kick backs or special favors, perks, etc from Bav Auto Sport. I am just an e60 owner like yourself, but one that's got "taken to the cleaners" in the past dealings with 3rd party BMW Parts dealers, and don't want to see any other forum member go through what I did one time purchasing some made for BMW rims, that looked great, but I could NEVER get balanced right on my e60!! Now they are good ones out there I am told. But I only stick with the one who do me right! So far it has been Mr. Patrick Dowling at Bavarian Auto Sport hand down above all the rest I have tried to do my BMW business with over the past few years.

If interested in Remus Quad be sure to shop around for the best price from a reputable company i.e. Bav Auto Sport that's been in business since the 1970s and their still going strong selling us quality 3rd party BMW Parts.

CLICK ON: http://www.bavauto.com/

(Also you probably already know this but in case you don't, be sure to pay the company your purchase your Remus Quad from by your Credit card, so you will have a leg to stand on, and you can protest the credit charge, and get your money back if the company you deal with don't deliver the product you paid for, and gives you a run around, after you pay them their money).

Good luck with your Remus exhaust, and email me if you need any help with it. I hope this info helps!!

Sorry man, I have no sounds clips, yet, but when I do I will PM you one. But the Remus Quad is not real loud or anything, but is louder than stock e60 muffler.
