Remus Exhaust and M-Tech bumper fitment?

My Ride: Silverstone 2007 BMW M5. Acquired June 2009 ... with only 5,600 kms, and A$100k off new car price!
Amethyst Grey 2004 BMW 545i standard Australian delivered specs including: 6 speed Steptronic, Active Steering, Standard Cruise Control (not Active CC), Bi-Xenon with Adaptive Headlights, 8.8" colour monitor with Professional Navigation, TV and Voice Recognition, Elec rear sun blind. Options: BMW 124 alloys, elec sports seats, full BMW M-tech body kit, darkest Aust legal window tint, 2000 kg tow hitch, cubby box
Hi all,
Can anyone assist with two questions regarding Remus exhausts:
(1) Any fitment problems with the M-Tech bumper? Any trimming involved?
(2) What is the exhaust sound like inside the cabin, windows up, at 60kph (~ 35mph) and 100kph (~60mph)? Under acceleration, I would like a nice note
, but not droning inside the cabin when just highway driving 
.

Hi I have no Remus, but had Sebring which is a bit better but they seem to be one family.
For E60 Remus and Eisenmann are the most noisy one, so yes you can here your V8, but also depends on the rev you are of course, guess you do not drive always 7000rpm? Good luck.
Why there wud be any probs w ///M rear? if the diameter is the same or not bigger than shall be no probs.

My Ride: E60 M5, F85 X5M
Forum members jet190rs and JDN have Remus exhaust on their cars but I don't believe they have the M Tech Kit.
You should have no problems fitting the Remus to the M Tech rear spoiler. I have Dinan exhaust with 3" or 76mm equivalent tips with M Tech and they fit fine.

My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
I dont have the Mtech bumper, but since fits on the stock bumper, then I assume it should fit the Mtech. The Remus does hang a bit low on mine though, just like the B&B exhaust. Other B&B owners have bought shorter hangers to raise it.
When you're cruising at a steady rpm on the highway, you won't hear it at all. You'll notice the sound only when you put your foot down.

Thanks to all for your input, especially Jet190rs and JDN for have the Remus. What size diameter tips you guys got? Viking mentioned that his Hartage tips are 2 x 76mm and fits ok. The Remus in Australia comes with 2 x 84mm, but I'm not sure whether that's inside or outside diameter.

Mine are 2 x 84mm, which I believe are the only tips available for the 545 Remus. As you can see from my pics, the tips are "thick". Obviously the stock bumper probably wasn't meant to accommodate such big tips, but they do fit and fill out the bumper cutout area pretty well.
