I recently did a halogen to xenon retrofit....however, my angel eyes will not work until I combine two wires from the wiring harness. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do this. Does anyone know how to remove a wire from a pin, as shown in the pictures? I tried to just pull out the wire but am afraid this is not the correct way to do this....look at the diagram, I am trying to connect the green wire to the grey wire..

Anyone have experience with this ?

You may not be able to remove the wire from the pin very easily because they are crimped on. Also looking at that plug it looks like its using 2.5mm tyco round sockets which may not come out of the socket holder without you destroying the socket pin.

 

Thanks for the help. I ended up just cutting the plastic around the grey wire then wired in the green wire...it seemed to fix the problem.

 

You shouldn't have cut the wires!!! On the right hand picture there is a turquoise tab, you pull that out and it releases all the pins. I personally did all the wiring inside the headlight so it was all plug and play.

 

Well thats not good. haha, can something bad happen from this ? From your first post I thought taking out the pins was impossible, so I went this route....should I try and reverse what I did? Everything seems to be working fine.....man I wish you would have said something the first go around

 

If it all works it's OK. Just induvidual wiring preferences.

a technical retard so I need someone to tell me what to buy so that I can take all the bits to PNW in Chelmsford,
show them this sight and get them to sort it out! I have an 05' 523 m sport and the dealers just keep telling me it
