Well I was installing my new roundels tonight. And I got the front one on, but I was having the hardest time removing the rear one. I was using a credit card under the roundel and a small flathead. Well I was applying alot of force and I ended up hitting right about the roundel with the screw driver and it scratched below the paint. Theres about a 1 inch scratch that is very noticeable to me. So I'm wondering how can I get rid of this? Is there touchup paint I could use?? I don't want to make it worse. Worth using some scratch removal service? I don't know what to do.

Looking for something more cost effective, it did cross my mind for about 2 seconds.

Opps ... a mod results in damage! Been there ... done that

Darn badges are a pain to remove ... you can try some "touch-up" ... there are a couple of scratch kits that might work if you're handy. If not, a well equipped detail operation might be a more reasonable approach than a traditional bodyshop.

Alot of detail shops do small paint repairs these days (like repainting a bumper that has been scuffed etc.) I would think they could fix this quickly, invisibly and cost-effectively too!

. .....................you could fill ,the scratch with touch up paint, then use a bit of rubbing compound and elbow grease to remove the excess then polish it out . Good Luck

Hey Phil the dealership has touch up paint, I think they gave me mine for free or like $20, 2 small bottles. Anyway, one is paint the other is clear coat. Very easy, I have used it to touch some minor stuff on my ride
