My Ride: F11 535i M-Sport,, Silver, Black Leather, LED Adaptive headlights
Model Year: 2015
Engine: N55
My E61 Tourer 530D was given the DMS treatment last week. I am very impressed.
218bhp -> 260 bhp
369 lb/ft -> 413 b/ft
I did some test runs before and after, here are the results.
Before Remap D DS
0 - 60 6.74 7.05
40 -70 6.2 6.68
60 - 80 4.88 4.80
After Remap D DS
0 - 60 6.44 6.48
40 - 70 5.68 5.46
60 - 80 4.24 3.98
These were averages of a number of runs and whilst obviously subject to variation are indicative of the differences in my vehicle.
What is most noticeable, is the difference when in DS mode, before the remap the car performed much better in D, after DS showed a considerable improvement.
This fits with the feel of the car, it always seemd to run out of steam in DS. now the extra torque keeps the car powering to a higher rev limit before it drops off.
Top speed of course was 70mph before and 70mph after.
Well, I would never break the law

Not bad stock figures! Confirms what I thought about D vs DS in 'standard' tune! (DS isn't worth the increase in volume most of the time!)
The caveat of course is that the speeds are 'indicated speeds' so 0 - 60 is probably really 0-57 ish and all timings were with a stop watch, hence I can't claim these as true speed/times, but they are comparable with each other.
