Been to home depot and pep boys, no luck.

Where can I find this very fine, wet-sand sandpaper?

Go to any place that sells automotive paint to the paint shops they will have up to 4000 grit I believe. If you can't find one listed just call and auto body shop and ask where to get supplies in your town. They will hook you up.

I did the headlight polishing thing (it worked great!)... I ordered a whole set of fine grit papers from Steward MacDonald.

Good luck!

3M headlight restoration kit 3M headlight restoration kit

This is all you need to get perfect lights. Comes with compound and drill attachment. I did my lights and it got rid of the peeling coating. What good was the coating if it is failing? I picked up some painters tape while I was at it and taped around the lights a few inches. I had my wife run a small stream of water to wet sand and keep everything cool. I laid blankets over the engine bay and on the sides of the car. This kept the engine clean while polising the headlights. I didn't use water on the compound stage. But there is more then enough to do both lights.

Sorry to crash, Roj, but does anyone know if will this kit work on the fogs? If so, do I have to remove them, or can I tape around the plastic housing? My headlights are fine, but my fogs look pretty speckled.
