Has anyone tried this on a BMW. I know for other cars people swear by it to keep the temperature down. I am curious if it would work on the n54 engine.

I have it on my bike, water wetter. great for track. i wont probly ever need it on my car but curious too..

+1 I have it on my bike as well. I don't think it really does anything for temperature, but a lot of track riders, switch it out incase they crash, WW is easier to clean than coolant.

Just keep it OEM and do BMW coolant.

If you decide to try it, use the diesel one.
