Looking for folks that have knowledge regarding added wider rear rims and tires to their e60. I don't know if their is a difference in the rear wheel wells with the m5 vs regular e60 but I am looking to purchase some wheels and was thinking of going with a 19x10 +22 offset in the rear. I know 275/30/19 is the recommended tire size but wouldn't it give it a slight stretch to the tire side walls by using a 19x10 rim? I am looking to get max protection BUT WITHOUT RUBBING and was thinking 285/30/19 instead. I am hoping that with going with a bigger sidewall that I would be able to minimize rim repairs in the future. Big thanks to anyone who can chime in with their knowledge.
