Does anyone know if the USA spec m aero kit spoiler is the wing type or the lip spoiler like the M5? I like the one posted by BMW#5 above, but that is a South African spec. car. Do we get the same one?

I believe the M Tech spoiler is the lip type like the one posted by BMW#5. The wing type is also an accesories item in the US. Both are listed on Bekkers Import website here: http://www.bekkers.com/Merchant2/merchant....ry_Code=E60aero

I think in the US the deal is:
the M Aero Kit does not come with a rear spoiler. The only spoiler directly available for US orders is the accessory rear deck spoiler as shown on the BMW NA web site (as in 525iSE's pic above).
However, you can have your dealer order the M5 spoiler. (This may be the same as BMW#5 has).
I'm having my sales guy look into getting the M5 lip for my 550.

Here's another pic. I think it would look great w/ the M-Kit. The BMW lip spoiler isn't very noticable if you ask me, if you want a lip spoiler go with the bigger ACS type.
