i've always liked the shades in the rear of the car. too bad mine didn't come with the option. I was wondering if I could mod my car to make that happen? it looks like i'd have to change out the inside panels of the back doors, and add some more mechanics in the rear window. tell me its possible!! =)

I've guided a couple people threw the Non power rear window one , but I have not touched the door ones...
Also the rear window one is not for the faint of heart if you don't have fold down seats.
It will take about 1-3 hours if you have all the tools, and depending on your work skill level. The powered one is considerably more complicated, and I'm not aware of any one that has tried doing it due to the cost parts needed and wiring.
The non powered one can be obtained from our forum sponsors for under $120, but there tends to be a couple week wait due to them not being readily stocked in the USA.
I have a Black interiored car with black Bamboo trim & live in the deep south , so it was almost a necessary add on as was the fitted front window shade.
