Ray's Lexion Wheel Fitment ?
#1
hey guys, a friend of mine has some Ray's Wheels he might be selling.
these are the sizes/offsets... will they fit my relatively stock 2006 530i ? i don't know what tire sizes to run either... i heard i couldn't fit more then 245's in the front and 285's out back right ?
Lexion 401
20x9.5 +27 Front
20x10.5 +27 Rear
this is what they look like on a dumped merc.

with the T1R's im looking at these sizes for the front.
245/40ZR20 with an overall diameter of 27.7
and
245/35ZR20 95Y RD with an overall diameter of 26.8
for the rear.
275/30ZR20 with an overall diameter of 26.6
so maybe the 245/35/20's for the front and the 275/30/20's for the rear ? a difference of almost 1".... in overall diameter..

members with a 35 sidewall (including myself) in front rub and have had to get the fenders rolled and/or cut. Id recommend a 35 sidewall though especially if it were a daily driver, 30 is standard but yes thinner. dropping the car is personal preference, Id recommend it though whether springs with shocks or coilovers. with coilovers you can adjust the height to your liking. and our cars are standard with some negative camber.
