I'm better off getting a 545 and trading in the 530 for $5k. In other words, its easier to turn a model into a fat chick than it is to make a fatty... thin.
You are right, but then you will still spend the money to mod your 545 right? To me, that's the beauty of modding and I wouldn't let my car stay stock for too long
I like my daily drive 3 liter engine, with very balance gas/mileage/power. Just want to upgrade the engine a little to keep up with the others like S4, 335, G35.....

$5000 including labor and parts
That much money would be better spent on a supercharger.

My initial thought was to go with SC too, about $6000+labor, but after reading one of the member's experience with SC, I decided it's not the way to go for me. It's more expensive, take much longer to install and it's not even 100% guaranteed will work, just way too much hassle. On the other hand, RD is the brand I trust, I have great past experience with them and the installation doesn't seem too difficult, 2 days turn around, mostly bolt on.

More power to ya! I'd ask about the noise increase you will get with headers. They will make the car sound nicer, but definitely louder. Your car won't have a quiet interior anymore.

Oh yeah, there will be loud noise for sure, but it's something I will enjoy
I will start saving for this next project after my exhaust and intake install, man can't wait...

guys this is not including headers-its a new camshaft, tuning and exhaust.

Also raises revs to 7400 and it is from this that the power is put out-it even comments on their site that unless you will spend a lot of tim above 7k revs-then you wont see much of the benefit-this does very little for torque.

This is only good if you are tracking really--how often would you drive above 7k really..

I would never to this, although tempting-You would have to get it installed and likely swap valve springs as with any cam mod as the springs that are stock will not be adequate for the range of the new cam.

for 5000 in parts alone this one is just not worth it

Thanks for the input, that's why I won't get it til every modding is done. I was told the header is included, anyway, I will have some time to search for other ways.
