I can only reply about Formula One tint, since that is what I have. Looking over in Formula One's website, their Pinnacle Series (ceramic) line comes in three different shades: 50%, 35%, and 15%.

I have the Huper Optik in my car and have no problems at all. Best part is the lack of heat gain.

Just for reference, Llumar and Formula One are made by the same company CPFilms. Formula One is their high end tint. http://www.cpfilms.com/windowfilms.html

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.

I get really poor radio reception and asked my dealer following driving a loaner. He asked if my windos where tinted and if they had metal.

The Nav antenna is in the same place as the radio (fin on roof). So, I would checkout tints without metal.

But the ceramic Formula One tint has about half the heat rejection of the Huper Optik. From what I have seen... the Formula One looks better, because it has a more natural black look than the Huper Optik does. And the Formula comes in 15%, which is darker than the 30% Huper Optik.
