Thumbs up

Seems that I'm scraping everywhere (ok, some places) I go.
And this is before the front splitter...

Wanted to check with other folks who have the M-tech front bumper
to see if you're having the same experience as I am.

Not a scratch on mine.
I survey a parking spot before I even park.

You have to take driveways and large speed bumps at an angle to avoid scraping.

On my 540 I learned about the MTech front bumpers ! So far so good on the E60 but you definitely need to change up your approach to parking, speed bumps and steeper drive ways , a splitter only makes it worse , but they do look good !

It tends to happen on steep driveways.

just gotta slow down and swerve/angle a little better....GL

Even with my stock bumper and sprt pkg I've scraped, luckily just the underflap, but still a horrible noise...luckily no damage to the actual bumper, yes I did pull right over right away, down on all 4's/push-up position and check..

How much lower is the m-tech bumper compared to stock? I was thinking about it but i have a steep driveway

Anyone done a suspension lift on an E60?

Frank.......

Dont even get me started!!! I had my kit 1 week and I was turning into this parking lot and all of a sudden this guys comes out of nowwhere so i had to speed up some, as I was afraid he would clip me, anyway long story short, scraped the entire bottom of the new bumper. Luckily its low enough where you cannot see it unless you bend down, but I know its there!

So its driving me nuts! I couldnt even image if I had the splitter on mine..........I guess I need to be more careful in the future.

By the way, I may have some extra tape for you, hehe. gonna buy the good stuff when the spoiler is done this week, but its only gonna set me back $40 and not the $100 i had thought.

Ouch, sorry to hear about that , but I can emphatize. Like geneatals, I'm on all fours whenever I scrape, checking under the bumper . Good thing mine's at a point where you can't see it either, just annoying knowing it's there. Whenever the front splitter comes in, I'll most likely have the front bumper repainted.

PM me your PayPal address, and I'll pay for part of that tape.

That's odd... I have 20's and it seems my car got higher and is deinitely not scraping as much as when i have my OEM 17's on.
