To be honest, I am selling this LCI lights. But this posting is not for selling but for information.

Today, I got a question regarding to installation this to 2004 E60 545i.

This headlight is sold for LCI body 2006~2009.

I don't know how to install this to non-LCI. Even possibility.

I joined here today because some of buyers advised I can get lots of answers from enthusiastic E60 speciallists here.

One more question.

I sold Euro version LED Hella tail lights to buyer in Indonesia.

His BMW is not LCI, so I recommended to buy Bruce Cable together, but neglected.

Now, he is struggling to connect 7 pin in the light with 6 pin in the car by trial and error.
(If he does't have any luck, he needs to try this stupid job more than 5000 times.)

I would like to help him. Is there any method without spending money?

Thank you for your advice in advance, and have a great 2010.

Not entirely true. The retrofit cable is available from your BMW parts department (atleast in the EU). Anyway to get the LCI headlights working you will need the retrofit cable, a new LCM and programming. Otherwise you can try and create a way to go from the old xenons to the new xenons. In that case as well you can use the retrofit cables atleast for the plugs needed for the lights.

Hi

In order to get the taillights to function you will either need the cables from Bruce , or a new OEM LM + adapter cables & coding.

Sorry , no cheep way around here

Regarding the Headlights , Bruce is completly right , also NO easy way around here either.

Thank you for replies.
It doesn't look I have easy way.

btw, bruce, I am 2S.
I tried to explain problems without your cable, but that Indonesian guy chose long and difficult way.
He said he doesn't mind strobe.

I would like to help him because he is my customer.

Would you let me know how to connect 7 pins to 6 pins by chance?

If not, that's still fine. I understand.

Thank you. and let me know if you have plan to find out the way to connect LCI xenon to non-LCI.
