forged wheels are the best way to go, strong as hell and lighweight too
|
+1 on Modular or Vellanos
|
+1 IFORGED wheels. here's our thread on them: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=60008 :)

Modular 2 or 3 piece wheels don't stand a chance against potholes! Choose according to your
road conditions and driving habits.... |
quick add, I can vouch personally for mine and Joe's (r1racer/trinityautosport) for our 2-piece iforged wheels, we just had this conversation a couple days ago. so many times we've had bent wheels from potholes or those steel plates from construction and not one time did our air pressure go down. also though both of us, and others, are running on 20s but with tire sizes 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 :)

VIP Modulars are top notch, they are among the best you can buy for 3 piece wheels. I would also look into Vorsteiner, HRE, DPE, System Forged and 360Forged.
|
I have 2 piece DPE's and I love them
