QUAD M gets me 18 months later!

My Ride: 2007 550i, Mystic Blue over Auburn, 6-Manual, Sports, Premium, Cold Weather, Logic 7, Nav, Sirius, MTec Front & Sides with M5 rear apron, VIS Penta carbon fiber vented hood, OEM M166s, (or Style 101M with winter 19 Blizzaks), BMW Blue Calipers, Custom Quad Exhaust and M5 side grills, trunk finisher and spoiler. Rogue Octane SSK/WSR and Zeckhausen CDV, BMW illuminated shift knob, Delivered 4/26/06 - Ordered 3/18/06 from Otto's (the Best) BMW Dealership.
Well I thought I sneaked away from QUAD M (Tony) as a lucky guy... but NO... I was washing the car this weekend and noticed multiple defects and peeling paint after the winter. My installer told me the paint quality was CRAP but it didn't seem that bad, but after a year+ on the car it's clear the paint is way too thin and the clear coat doesn't fully cover. Not only that the prep work must have been poor because there are several places peeling and pitting.
SO- I didn't get screwed by him at the time but he got me later! I imagine I'm looking at $5-600 to fix both aprons... PITA!
Hope you guys got something back- haven't heard of this thread in a while...

Sorry to hear that. I guess when you look at the bright side, you actually got the m tech kit and lose a few hundred dollars unlike others who lost $2k and got nothing in return.

Great point- and I don't mean to whine when he screwed so many members who acted in good faith. I'll fix this and be OK but I do feel bad for the "list of 40" or whatever it ended up as...

The M-Tech Kit on my old 530 was total crap. My body shop guy asked where I had purchased the kit from and who did the paint work. Quad_m sucks! Hahahahaha!
