hi friends!
i am planning to install a quad exhaust on my bimmer.
the two candidates: hamann and eisenmann
HAMANN (1.990,- euro for exhaust + 399,- euro for diff)
![](https://img165.imageshack.us/img165/4632/hamann01rr3.jpg)
EISENMANN (1.333,- euro for exhaust + 299,- euro for diff)
![](https://img165.imageshack.us/img165/3125/eisenmann02oo3.jpg)
I think the diff from Eisenmann is very cool!
Any opinions?!
Cheers

Lieber Danny,
the two diffusers are totally different so are the two systems of exhausts.
Firts Eisenmann:
PROS:
German, very nice, good sound, popular.
NEGS:
no T?V at least here in belgium you gotta take it off for exams.
it is a tube even if nicely done!
not a real quad pipes system
Second HAMANN:
PROS:
Only in the World for 535D and for 550i true HAMANN quads with 90 mm diam! the other engines yet with 76 mm
German, even a different level of look and QUALITY, SS makes only for HAMANN these, so even if some buy a nice SS will never have a close one to HAMANN.
The quality used by the factory with its 50 yrs experience of making race and streets (tuner) exhausts is amazing.
TRUE QUAD system even if the system is NOT x-pipe anymore (except the Emmies).
Has T?V, and we can have that too, less people have it = so as the brand is too the exhausts unique
NEGS:
for what you pay there is none, the price is not that big difference, if you compare what you want to have.
The diffuser from Eisenmann or others is a modified BMW OE rear M tech diffuser panel with and "identical" cut on the right side ("copy+paste") and no diffusor in the middle, nice and 299?
However HAMANN is again a different material and way of manufacturing, made in Germany by a factory, cutouts are there for both sides identically, but from HM M5 and OE M5 rear bumper there is a diffuser and also a mesh like on my and others
HAMANN front apron, cost: as prev +100? = but what you get for 399? plus VAT (if applicable) is a different look than others, and the matterials and quality is uncomperable.
So up to each of you, I will get mine in these weeks and will show here as many did already
, ask a guy/gal how they feel and how others see their HM quads and diffuser...
Danke.If you are interested PM.
I have still one that Tiago shall have if he replies again.
PS. but each to his own, and its all up to you, listen mates, I am not biased but impressed by high level of materials and quality that is why I am HAMANN-mad

Are you sure that's an Eisenmann Diffuser? As far as I know, they only make exhausts. That diffuser looks like the standard M Tech diffuser that's been modified to have two outlets.
