3.31" double walled tips with M5 OEM rear bumper
Im a total newbie to this forum and so forgve the idiotic baby questons here but....
1. I have heard that the OEM m5 rear section that can handle dual pipes is not an exact fit on the 545i an can causes "gapping" between the panels once installed....Have you seen this, and if so....is it a easy mod to make pretty?
2. What is a diffuser? I listen to a band called diffuser! I know, I know... I should probably know this, but I dont. I am assuming its the rear mid piece in between the pipes but what does it actually do?
3. I live in Southern Oregon, or I should say I was from Oregon. Does anyone know a good place in So Cal that could do the exhaust and rear panel in one trip down south?
I apologize again for these questions but I have been pretty busy in Iraq since 2004. So.... needless to say I am a little out of touch with the "cool" factor. I'll probably show up to a So Cal meet in my tiger stripe shorts that were cool in Nam) ( I am 28 so I wasn't actually in Nam but you know what I mean.) Thanks Buddy!

But this is not an original M5 Bumper.
It looks like the M version with Rieger diffusor.

2. well the diffuser on the M5 bumper is the little piece between the mufflers on the bottom of the bumper, but on the m-tech bumper its a lot bigger, almost like a whole new bumper
3.So Cal, you can go to EuroRev for your engine/body mods and then AAA exhaust down street, they work together and have done many of our member's cars, including mine.

Ahem.... AAA is not 'just' down the street unless you consider taking 405 N from Inglewood to 10 E exit La Cienega 'down the street.'
