Not sure about going quad.

But by far the easiest performance mod you can do is to add a tuning box (www.tuningbox.com), or if you want the same type of mod a bit more professionally done, then get a DMS Remap. Expect your BHP to go up to about 210 bhp, and torque to around 500 Nm.

The other easy thing to do is to add a sprintbooster, which increases throttle response.

IMO - Because you have a diesel, both of the above offer much more performance for your pound, than an exhaust upgrade would give you.

Sorry I don't know anything about the issue, but I ran into this: hamann-motorsport.de.
There is a solution for 525d too on that site (HAMANN ENDSCHALLD?MPFER 4-ROHR). Check it out...

Many thanks to both of you, I will look into the products you have mentioned, and I think I will get the Quad Exhaust done at M-Style

Please post pics and sound clips. Would love to know what a difference in sound can be achieved with a performance exhaust for a diesel !

You can get the quad setup. But your right side exhausts would be no use. Form follows function, not in this case.

You can have 4 tips for sure, but I don't think you can improve power and sound on a diesel .
Why do you want the quad, for the look ?
In this case ok, you will be able to have it in some ways
