My Ride: 2004 525i

My drivers side headlight turned purple and dim.. Does any body know what that is? Bulb? Ballast? I didn't get any kind of error message.

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny. 2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter. Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.

Could socket and/or terminal be a little rusted on the dimmer bulbs? Might want to check and try cleaning and see what happens.

i believe your xenon is about to burn out..it happened on my right one a few months back it was pinkish for 2 days and then finally burned out :/

my xenon burned out with in 48 hours for dimming to a pinkish color
