Sup fellas. I was looking into purchasing some aftermarket parts for my car and wanted your suggestions. I've already done tint, fog lights, AC Schnitzer roof spoiler & deck lid spoiler, and got 20" rims. (I'll post pics when I get the chance.)

Right now I'm interested in performance mods + more cosmetic mods. Do any of you guys know of any shops in Southern California that specialize in that type of thing? Where is the best place to purchase aftermarket parts online as well? Thanks in advance.

There are a couple of chips out for the E60 (powerchip, unichip, etc.), but hard data on how well they actually work is nonexistant.

You should consider an aftermarket exhaust also.

Thanks for the quick reply, do you know of any places I can get the quad exhaust and chips and body kits in SO CAL. Been really eager to get something and I got jacked like SOC FANS with the B&B Cold Air Intake. Thanks everyone!

I have been researching the Quad Exhaust thing. The only one out there that I have found is the Hamann System. It looks good and sounds great. I am not sure I agree with the overall engineering of it, so I am still doing some more research. Hamann also has some good looking kits - check out the pics of the SB Bimmerfest. Leo's ride is pretty trick.

Hamann US distributor can point you to a dealer (714) 375 9666

Also the guys at evosport (888) 520-9971 are pretty knowledgable about chips.

I believe alex.br is the has the only chipped 545 to date. Look up his particulars by doing search on chip tuning and his name and that should get u some info on just his setup. His is an add on outboard setup. Info here: http://www.dastek.co.za/

The other chip tuners are modifying the ECU code. Wetterauer at:
http://wetterauer.de/

and another here are all that I know of so far.

Let us know if u go any of these routes or other vendors

Yeah I will definitely let you guys know which route I end up taking. I have been talking to Jack at DAI Motorsports here in Laguna Niguel, CA. He's calling up ESS Tuning and AA to see if they can sponsor me on a prototype for the SUPERCHARGER for the 545i. I cant wait!!! In the mean time I think I will just bust out the Eisenmann Quad with the Hamman or the M tech kit for now.
